“ When I was five years old I made my first "book". I took some blank sheets of paper and I wrote out a story about a wombat that was too shy to come out of its burrow. I coloured it in, asked my mum to staple it together. I was so excited and proud of what I'd made; all I wanted to do was write more stories and make more "books".
I still own that wombat book, and I still have that passion for storytelling. I want to write stories that inspire others to write stories ”.
